Margaret South – Creative Writing Workshops for All Levels

You have a story to tell.
Maybe dozens.

Move from scattered ideas to clear, compelling stories with over 30 years of Hollywood and literary expertise.

“Structure and heart.
Both matter.”

Hi, I'm Margaret.

I’m a writer, teacher, and story coach. For over 30 years, I’ve helped writers move from scattered ideas to clear, compelling stories—whether they’re just starting out or feeling stuck halfway through.

My background in both Hollywood and literary storytelling means I focus on clarity, confidence, and momentum. Writing doesn’t have to feel overwhelming or lonely. With the right support, it can even be joyful.

I will be forever grateful for Margaret's wisdom and guidance. A producer wants to produce my feature film! He said it was "pure, organic, and beautiful."
